December reading
Sunday August 12th 2012December is when things are generally quiet in and around any beehive, usually giving the beekeeper plenty of time to catch up on late Autumn reading. Here is a sample of my list:
Another thing this time of year affords is the chance to play with the loot (read: honey).
Been playing in the kitchen again, perfecting the Shipwreck Honey Butter recipe. It is GOOD, I will post the recipe here next week. In the meantime, take whats left of your liquid gold, get some good cheese (I use Metropolitan markets' holiday cranberry cheddar), sliced pears or fuji apples and make yourself a snack plate. Its good eats on a small scale!
